Capt. Bryan Bondioli earned his Master’s 100-Ton License from the U.S. Coast Guard

Bryan has always been an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. After living in the Arizona wilderness in a tent (by choice) in the early nineties, he was encouraged by his parents to experience the Last Frontier. In 1992, Bryan came to Homer Alaska and spent the summer, again living in his tent, on the Homer Spit and exploring the Kenai Peninsula. He worked on the commercial docks offloading millions of pounds of halibut. Did a little commercial fishing. Worked for a while for charter companies and boats. Spent several weeks working 100 + hr weeks in the salmon canneries and a few other jobs. Upon his return to school that fall in Phoenix, the sounds of the waves on the beach and the allure of the ocean became too much. He got a job with H&R Block and on April 16 1993 his little truck was packed with his tent on top and headed to Alaska for good with a job as a charter deckhand lined up. Another summer in the tent followed by a 30 below winter in a travel trailer with no heat the Alaskan Adventure was in full swing.

In 1997, Bryan picked up the Ashtikan in Southern California and sailed her up the West Coast to her new permanent home in Homer. He and his family began Captain B’s Alaskan C’s Adventures with the commitment to providing everlasting lifelong memories focused on safety and the quality of adventures and catching. Over 30 years later Bryan has had countless clients whose “once in a lifetime trip” turned into an annual or biannual tradition, lots of whom have been loyal clients for over 20 -25 yrs. He has many families who are still returning with their 3rd and 4th generations to experience adventures with Captain B.
